Job Satisfaction
- It refers to an individual's general attitude towards his job.
- A person with high level of job satisfaction holds positive attitude towards the job.
- Variety of factors effect job satisfaction: employee’s need and aspirations, relationship withy coworkers and superiors, working conditions, work policies, compensation etc.
- Job satisfaction closely related to employee’s performance and his work related behaviuor.
Job Involvement
- Job involvement is the degree to which employees immerse themselves in their jobs, invest time and energy in them.
- They view work as a central part of their overall lives.
- Job involved employees believe in the work ethic, exhibit high growth needs and enjoy participation in decision making.
- They are willing go for extra mile and attempt to be high performers.
Organisational Commitment
- Also known as Employee Loyalty, a strong force for organisational effectiveness.
- It is the degree to which an employee identifies with the organisation and wants to continue meaningfully participating in it.
- It often reflects the employee’s belief in the mission and goals of the organisation.
- It also shows his willingness to put efforts in achieving those goals.
